-MidWest WeirdFest - Dean Bertram

“Luna delivers a bold, brave, and resonant lead performance, where his vulnerability is the viewer’s reward, and one can hear his heart in this film.” Feature film, planet b234.

-The Digital Journal - Markos Papadatos

“‘Baipás’ derives its delight from the versatile, resourceful performance of Jorge Luna [who] can convey thoughts, emotions, and comments on a dime.”

“Baipás” by Jacobo Morales - Princeton Info - Neal Zoren

Jorge Luna, [who] expertly brought the performance to life with a perfection only achievable by destiny itself.

“Constellations” by Nick Payne - The Flor-Ala (Arts & Entertainment) - Laura Leigh Vought

“Jorge Luna as Vincenzio, Galileo’s bastard son, serves as a breath of fresh air throughout the play. Vincenzio’s only concern is removing his illegitimate status and Luna plays this with non-calculating delight.”

Jorge Luna was born into a family of artists in San Juan, Puerto Rico. His mother wrote children's stories, and his father was a requinto and guitar player. His sister is a dancer and his older brother is a concert guitar player. This creative household propagated an ideal environment to grow up in.

At the age of seven he was inspired by a virtuoso circus performance by a troupe called Círcolo. A few years later Luna discovered his love for performing art when he started off as a DJ, and continued spinning in night clubs and venues. He particularly loved bing smuggled into nightclubs at a young age to spin a vinyl (or ten) before midnight. He continued djing for several years until he discovered his central passion - acting.

Luna can be seen on Netflix's The Week Of with Adam Sandler, Steve Buscemi, and Chris Rock. Plus, Guest Starring roles on TV series Law & Order, The Blacklist, Elementary, Lisey’s Story, and Law & Order SVU.

Upcoming- Netflix’s Zero Day with Angela Bassett, Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Connie Britton, and Lizzy Caplan.

Luna is drawn to roles that require a physical challenge and is particularly adept at radically reinventing himself from role to role. Some of Luna's favorite theater roles have been Roland in Nick Payne’s Constellations, Marat in Alexei Arbuzov’s The Promise, Felisardo in Lope de Vega’s Los Melindres de Belisa, and Trissotin in Moliere's The Learned Ladies, in which he played full tilt the character's flamboyance.

His roles have been far reaching, ranging from antagonist Iachimo in Cymbeline to the visionary Vlass in Summerfolk. He trained in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and holds a MFA in acting from Brooklyn College in NYC. Other roles have included Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, Cassius in Julius Caesar and Trinculo in The Tempest.

In film he has played characters who demand full emotional engagement. Recently Luna played the lead in semi-autobiographical film, planet b234, a film he co-wrote and co-produced with wife and director, Keelie Sheridan. He is multilingual, fluent in Portuguese, and native in both English and Spanish. He is also a photographer and guitar player.
